Spa Etiquette

The members of our staff have dedicated their lives to promote the well being of others. Because we want each guest to go home satisfied, we ask that these few, but important rules of Spa Etiquette be observed:

Ensured relaxing atmosphere

To ensure a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests we ask that you:

• Turn cell phones/pagers to silent or vibrate mode.
• Use a "spa voice" in all areas of the spa. Our lounge is a place where many guests savor a much-needed private moment to read, meditate or simply to relax.

Returns / Exchanges

Skin Care: You may receive a full refund within 10 days of purchase.

Makeup / Body Care / Miscellaneous: Are all final sale.

Gift Certificates: Are non-refundable but are fully transferable.

Methods of payment

We accept cash, debit, Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Essence Organic Spa Gift Certificates / Cards. Service prices are subject to change without notice. Treatment times are approximate. Gratuities are not included in the service price.

Valuables

We request that you leave all jewelry at home. We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

We love kids, but...

The spa is a place where Moms & Dads come to rest and recharge their batteries. So please, make arrangements in advance and come enjoy the Spa without your little ones.

Children under the age of 13 will not be permitted in the spa, unless they are having services.

Spa Arrivals/Arriving Late

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment, so that we may begin your treatment on time.

Your time is important to us and we are committed to offering all guests wonderful service. As a courtesy to our other guests, If you arrive late for your appointment, we may have to customize your treatment to fit in the allotted time or reschedule your appointment.

Privacy

During treatments, your body will be draped with sheets or towels to ensure your privacy. However, because your relaxation and enjoyment is our number one priority, please feel free to leave on as much clothing as makes you feel comfortable.

Sanitization and Sterilization

At Essence Organic Hair & Day Spa sanitization and sterilization is a priority. It is very important that you have a relaxing and stress free environment in which to enjoy your spa experience. In order to achieve this environment the equipment and furniture used in a treatment is thoroughly cleaned using hospital grade sterilants and virucides. The products we use are safe for you and our environment. If an item can't be thoroughly sterilized/ /then it is thrown away or given to you for home use.

Our Policies

At the time of your reservation we do require a credit card number, gift certificate number or payment in full, otherwise your appointment cannot be taken. When you reserve your ME time with us and you need to cancel, as a courtesy to our therapists and our other guests, we do require a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. For 3 or more services a minimum of 48 hours notice is required. If less than is given the following may apply:

• For any one or more services a fee of 50% will be applied/
• For spa packages 50% of the package will be applied/
• For all no shows 100% of the service/package will be applied

Absolutely no phone messages or emails can be accepted for cancellation.

We do understand that things "come up". If we can fill the appointment time, you won't be billed at all.
